Account Specialist (Work place: Bolingbrook (Chicago), IL

 

Founded in 1998, headquarters in Hong Kong, Impro is a leading manufacturer of machined OEM casting components serving various industries - such as aerospace, medical healthcare, automotive, heavy-duty truck, construction equipment, high-horsepower engine and agriculture equipment. Most of the customers are Fortune 500 or listing companies in US and Europe. Impro has been experiencing phenomenal growth with more than 6,000 employees worldwide including 12 Manufacturing Plants, 6 Logistics Centers and 6 Sales Offices in USA (LA, Chicago), China, Hong Kong and Luxemburg, Germany. Because of business expanding and growing in America region, the Company is seeking a bi-lingual, international business experienced and customer-focused personnel to join its Chicago team.
 
Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with the team including members of Executive VP, Sr. Engineering Manager and Sr. Sales Managers to develop/execute America region strategies, identify business opportunities and co-ordinate projects with international manufacturing plants. 

2. Manage and maintain relations with existing accounts by communicating with our factories in different time zone and geographic on a daily basis. Process inquiries/request for quotes from new and existing accounts, negotiate pricing and commercial terms on projects to generate new revenue. 

3. Satisfy customers’ needs and be responsible for new project launch collaboration and act as a liaison between customers and Company's multiple-function teams globally. 

4. Perform tasks as delegated by the Senior Management from time to time.

 
Requirements:

1.  Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Business or related fields

2. Possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in BILINGUAL (English and Chinese Mandarin)

3. At least 2 years work experiences in international manufacturing/Import-Export related environment

4. Result focused and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) oriented personnel is preferred.

5. Self-motivated, organized and analytical, problem solving

6. Be able to travel around 20%

7. Excellent presentation skill and computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Because of business expanding and growing in America region, the Company is seeking a bi-lingual, mechanical engineering experienced and customer- focused personnel to join its Chicago team.
 
Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with the team including members of Engineering VP, Engineering Account Manager and Sr. Sales Managers to develop/execute America region strategies, identify business opportunities and co-ordinate engineering projects.

2. Engage engineering support for various industries in automotive, aerospace, construction equipment, medical equipment, high horse power engine for high complexity and high precision components.

3. Liaise between engineering teams of America region customers and design engineering team of Impro worldwide facilities to launch new projects, improve existing product design and provide VA/VE suggestions through emails, phone calls and face-to-face site visits.

4. Organize and participate in technical seminars and trade shows to promote company capabilities and customer awareness;

5. Maintain contact with customers R&D teams and sourcing teams to explore project opportunities from new programs;

6. Build rapport with customer design engineers through provision of solution, service and professional advice to meet customer’s expectations;

7. Keep abreast with development of Impro manufacturing processes and provide training to sales team;

8. May have opportunities to be offered with short-term/long-term trainings, or relocation to overseas facilities.

9. Other tasks assigned by the company from time to time.

 
Requirements:

1 .Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Science Engineering, Materials Science Engineering (metallurgy) or related fields.

2. At least 1-3 years’ work experiences in engineering, machining, foundry, mechanical design.

3. Be able to travel around 20-40%.

4. Excellent presentation and Communication skill.

5. Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Outlook.

6. Skill in CAD, and/or CAE is a plus.

7. Be able to communicate professionally in bilingual (English and Chinese Mandarin) is a plus.
