Impro Mexico SLP Campus will be equipped with the latest technologies & state-of-art equipment

  • Impro plans to invest over USD100million on infrastructure and equipment in SLP Campus in the next 3-5 years, which will generate 1,200 – 1,500 new jobs locally;

  • Impro Mexico SLP Campus covers an area of 22.7 hectares(around 2,448,508 sq. ft). It is planned to build 5 plants with the latest technologies & state-of-art equipment;

 San Luis Potosí, Mexico, 28th August 2019 – As a global top 10 manufacturer of high-precision, high complexity and mission-critical casting and machined components for diverse end-markets, Impro Group held a groundbreaking ceremony of Impro Mexico SLP Campus in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, on 28th August 2019.

Mrs. Ina Wang, Executive Director and Vice President of Impro Group, and Impro’s distinguished guests – Mr. Gustavo Puente Orozco, the Secretary of Economic Development of San Luis Potosí, Mr. Erika Briones Perez, the Mayor of Villa de Reyes as well as other government officials and partners attended the groundbreaking ceremony. The President of the Impro Industries Mexico, Mr. Mert Yilmaz, shared Impro’s investment story and future plan in San Luis Potosí. He highlighted that San Luis Potosi’s unique location, good climatic conditions as well as strong support from the state and municipal governments drove Impro to finally choose San Luis Potosi to build Impro Mexico SLP Campus. SLP Campus will be the first Campus in Impro to be equipped with 5 different production facilities and technologies. SLP Campus will cover a plot size of 22.7 hectares(around 2,448,508 sq. ft), and will establish 5 plants including precision machining, sand casting, investment casting, aerospace components and surface treatment. Impro plans to invest over USD100 million on infrastructure and equipment in SLP Campus in the next 3-5 years, which will generate 1,200 – 1,500 new jobs locally.

Executive Director and Vice President of Impro Group, Mrs. Ina Wang, commented: “The groundbreaking of Impro Mexico SLP Campus is an important milestone in Impro’s globalization journey. On behalf of Mr. Governor Juan Manuel Carreras, Mr. Gustavo Puente Orozco, highlighted the commitment of the state administration to develop manufacturing industry and generate employment sources. He also stressed that, as a model for providing employment opportunities for the local, Impro provides not only the competitive salaries, but also potential positions with technical development, which will inject vitality into the economic development of local communities.

All the guests and employees witnessed the unveiling of the commemorative plaque of Impro Mexico SLP Campus. The groundbreaking of Impro Mexico SLP Campus marks the further propulsion of Impro’s globalization and Impro Group’s commitment to serve North American market with faster market response, better customer service and highest quality in the years ahead.
