Impro Receives the Award for “2020 Excellent Supplier” by GE Aviation
For many years, the team at Impro has been proud of the reputation they’ve earned as one of the leading providers of high precision, high-complexity and mission-critical components operating anywhere in the world today. We were reminded again recently of just how important our commitment to customers is when we had the honor of being awarded the “2020 Excellent Supplier” designation by GE Aviation, in recognition of “outstanding performance in new product development, quality and delivery” in 2020.
This distinction comes on the back of another major award that Impro received – the “Supplier of the Year” award from Honeywell Aerospace.
One of the things that makes this particular award so special is that the GE Aviation hadn’t actually given it to any of its suppliers or other partners in China over the course of the last five years. Even in 2020, only three suppliers were recognized – with Impro Aerotek being at the top of that list. Over the course of the last year, Impro has worked tirelessly to support GE Aviation across various projects and we look forward to continuing to do so for years to come.
Ms. Julia Zhu, Plant President of Impro Aerotek, said that although the current aviation business has not yet fully recovered from the still-ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, “Impro has never stopped developing new products.” At the same time, in response to the rebounding of the aviation market and the potential for rapid growth of business moving forward, Impro has already begun to recruit and train new employees. Ms. Zhu said that “we will make full preparations proactively and consistently to provide excellent and reliable service for GE Aviation,” and that Impro looks forward to continuing to develop our relationship with the GE Aviation moving forward.
Overall, Impro has made it a mission to demonstrate its ability to provide remarkable service with excellent quality and delivery performance. This, coupled with a progressive NPI (new product introduction) execution with professional program management, make Impro a trustworthy partner for organizations like GE Aviation and others.
As 2021 continues on, Impro will maintain its customer-centric focus. Impro will also prioritize customer service and offering customers better and more efficient services than ever. We will further tap into the development potential of the aviation business, regularly enhancing our core competitiveness, and make even greater achievements in terms of future cooperation with those partners than ever.
