Impro’s Top 2020 Milestones
The past year was a pivotal one, presenting many unique challenges. At Impro, we’ve worked diligently to rise to meet the year’s challenges, while continuing to persist in growth and excellence. We feel a strong commitment to our community, our clients and our partners. Please read on to learn about some of the developments and distinctions we’ve achieved this year.
January 7, 2020: Impro Named SANY “Excellent Supplier”
At the 17th annual SANY Annual Supplier Conference, our subsidiary Wuxi Impro-Bees Precision Bearing was honored with the “Excellent Supplier Award” due to their outstanding performance when it comes to product quality, on time delivery and service.
February 2020: Doing Our Part Against COVID-19
Proper protective gear is key in reducing transmission of the novel coronavirus. As a demonstration of our corporate social responsibility, we donated 9.720 N99 masks and 110,000 disposable surgical masks to Wuxi Xisha People’s Hospital, Hong Kong United Christian Hospital, Yixing Environmental Protection Science and Technology Industrial Park and the Wuxi Xishan Economic Development and Technological Zone.
July 3, 2020: Impro Precision Establishes Our Sustainability Committee
We take sustainability goals seriously. This new committee formalizes that commitment, and creates the framework, strategies and policies that will help us meet our sustainability goals.
July 17, 2020: Impro Wins GE Aviation Joint Affiliates “Supplier Quality Award of Excellence”
Impro achieved many goals in 2020 that included being AS9100–certified, attaining GREEN Quality status, earning DSQR certification and completing more than 10 FAI submissions. Between that and Impro’s rapid customer service response, we were recognized as NPI Best in Class.
July 22, 2020: Impro Wins “Excellent Supplier Award” for Second Consecutive Year
Impro subsidiary Wuxi Impro-Bee Precision Bearing was awarded the SANY Heavy Machinery “Excellent Supplier” for the second year in a row. We are dedicated to a continuation of the same excellent service in 2021 and beyond.
August 24, 2020: Impro Subsidiary Gains AS9100 Certification
The AS9100 Certification is a quality management standard designed for the unique and demanding needs of the aerospace industry. With this certification in hand, Impro’s subsidiary Cengiz Makinawill be able to embrace new opportunities in the aerospace markets in Europe, North America and beyond.
October 19, 2020: Impro Global Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) Goes Live
Impro understand the need to comprehensively improve customers’ experience and our sales operation efficiency worldwide. With the launch of our CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), we’ll be able to meet the demands of global leading customers better than ever before.
October 29, 2020: Impro Recognized for Outstanding Performance, Flexibility, Speed and Overall Service
Long-time customer Emerson recognized Impro China Limited (IMCN) for qualities that include speed, flexibility and overall quality service. They join many other customers who have praised Impro’s excellent service across the board and flexibility meeting customers’ needs.
November 27, 2020: Impro Fluidtek Established
In a year that has seen tremendous growth despite challenges and difficulties, Impro is proud to announce the establishment of Impro Fluidtek Limited. This wholly owned subsidiary of Impro Group was established in the Xishan District by Impro International Limited.
December 25, 2020: Impro Breaks Ground on Xishan Base
Impro held a ceremony to celebrate the beginning of construction on their Impro Xishan Base. Located in Wuxi City in Jiangsu Province, the new base will cover an area of around 96,220 square meters, with about 119.890 square meters of building area, 1,025 parking spaces for employee cars, 385 motorcycle and e-bike spaces and 12 bus spaces. Phase I of construction should be completed by September 15, 2021.
These are just a few of the significant milestones we reached last year. We are looking forward to more progress in 2021, as we continue to improve and expand to serve our customers better than ever before.
