Sales Engineer

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional overtime
Bolingbrook, Illinois

Key Job Accountabilities

Work closely with the team to develop/execute sales plans and identify business opportunities Manage and maintain relations with existing industrial accounts Process inquiries/requests for quotation from new and existing accounts and negotiate pricing and commercial terms Be responsible for new project launch collaboration and act as a liaison between customers and Company's multiple-function teams globally Develop and maintain communications cooperatively and professionally with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing prospective customers Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support Secure and renew orders Help customers solve technical problems Perform other tasks as assigned


Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related fields At least 2 years of B2B sales in industrial/automotive products or related environment, selling to Fortune 500 Industrial customers and their Tier 1 suppliers Full working knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process Technical knowledge of manufacturing or application of engineered parts and components (Casting & Machining knowledge helpful) Self-motivated, organized and analytical, problem solving skills At least 25% Travel will be required for carrying out the job duties Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
