The BDO ESG Awards have been organized since 2018 by BDO (BDO Hong Kong), the world’s fifth largest accountancy and advisory network, with the aim of recognizing Hong Kong-listed companies that have demonstrated outstanding performance and active impact in the areas of ESG. The Best in ESG Awards are presented to the top three companies in each of the large, middle, and small market capitalization categories. The assessment criteria cover two major aspects: environmental (includes emissions control, use of resources, environment and natural resources and climate change), and social (includes employment and labor practices, health and safety, supply chain management, product responsibility, business ethics and community).
