230kV High-Voltage Substation Officially Commissioned at Impro Mexico SLP Campus
On September 27th, 2026 (Mexico time), the 230kV/45MVA high-voltage substation at Impro Mexico SLP Campus was successfully energized and officially commissioned.
In Mexico, a privately-owned 230kV/45MVA high-voltage substation project is subject to stringent entry requirements, with extremely challenging approval and grid interconnection procedures. Since its initiation in 2020, the project has navigated multiple challenges, including supplier replacements and construction suspensions. Through perseverance and extensive coordination with multiple stakeholders, the Impro team successfully completed all aspects of the project—including construction, government certification, and grid connection.
This commissioning fundamentally resolves the power supply bottleneck at the Campus. Equipped with a 45MVA high-capacity main transformer, the substation provides ample and stable power to Impro Mexico SLP Campus, fully supporting current production operations at the Campus and its mid-to-long-term capacity expansion. This ensures sufficient energy supply for the sustained development of Impro Mexico SLP Campus and enables us to deliver more products and services to customers across North America and globally.
