Impro Expanded Process Capabilities for Superalloy Investment Casting

Wuxi, China – Impro Aerotek has expanded its process capabilities and capacity for superalloy investment castings. The new ALD three-chamber vacuum melting and pouring furnace successfully produced an 85-kilogram investment casting part on June 20, 2022, meeting all technical requirements. This marks another milestone for Impro Aerotek ––it has expanded its capabilities for superalloy investment casting from 30 kilograms to 115 kilograms by piece weight and from Ø500 x 600mm to Ø 1,100 x 1,200 mm by dimension.

Impro Aerotek aims to expand its business in high-value-added, high-complexity aerospace castings with additional technological advancement and investment.
